The Treat Map allows you to mark your home with a candy corn icon to let your neighbors know you will be giving out candy. Thanks to the Treat Map, little ghouls and goblins can plan their routes ahead of time to make a beeline straight to the candy or find the spookiest haunted houses on the block. Parents and neighbors can also know where the trick-or-treaters will be throughout the night, whether on their computer or on-the-go with Nextdoor for iPhone and Android.
To mark your home on the Treat Map, follow these simple steps:
- Sign in to your account. If you are not yet a member, you can sign up and verify your address to ensure you don’t miss out on the fun.
- Visit your neighborhood map. You’ll be given the choice to add a candy corn or haunted house on top of your home. If you live in or plan to visit a multi-tenant building, just click on the building to see the details of who will be participating in that building.
- Encourage your neighbors and friends to place the appropriate icon on the map so you’ll know exactly who is handing out candy or hosting a haunted house.
