In the past three years, we have seen that open, respectful, and constructive dialogue goes a long way towards enabling neighbors to build better local communities and happier places to call home.
Given this core value of community, we strongly oppose Indiana Governor Mike Pence’s decision to sign a bill into law that would allow Indiana businesses to discriminate against customers for any reason, including sexual orientation.
We believe this type of legislation only serves to divide communities and cripple their collective strength. We stand with Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard, our colleagues in the technology community, and all concerned citizens who oppose this discriminatory legislation.
Let us come together to support community, not discrimination.
