In June 2013, the Nashville Mayor’s Office of Neighborhoods partnered with Nextdoor to provide another citywide and neighbor-to-neighbor communications channel. Over the past year and a half, there has been a 420 percent increase in membership – nearly 25,000 residents from 300 Nashville neighborhoods have chosen to connect on Nextdoor.

To mark the anniversary and the progress that has been made, Mayor Karl Dean, Nextdoor Senior City Strategist Robbie Turner, and a handful of the most engaged Nextdoor neighborhoods in Nashville gathered together this morning.
