The response has been incredible. People truly do want to bring back a sense of community to the neighborhood and we’re humbled to be a part of it.
Today we are excited to announce a significant milestone: over 53,000 neighborhoods, representing more than 35% of the neighborhoods across the country, now rely on Nextdoor.
In conjunction with this milestone, we are also announcing a new $110 million round of funding for the company. This investment will enable us to accelerate our efforts in the years ahead. Every year at Nextdoor has been better than the last, and we are just getting started.
None of this would have been possible without the overwhelming support from our incredible members, city partners, and employees. They inspire us every day with stories of how Nextdoor is used to improve their lives and their neighbors’ lives. Whether it’s finding a great babysitter, selling a used couch, or coming together in times of crisis – we are honored that Nextdoor has become an essential lifeline to the neighborhood.
I would like to end with a few stories that showcase the undeniable power of neighbors when they come together to build stronger and safer neighborhoods. When neighbors start talking, good things definitely happen. Here’s to the journey ahead.
